Hi Robert,
My short answer is -No templates for Paper Stack Actions.
Reasons:
Paper Stack Actions was actually a request from a member who runs printing company specializing in actual forms ( like a application forms, etc ). So the idea when I created the actions was to make user to insert the images ( JPG ,GIF or PNG ) of pre-designed forms to the starting templates to produce the 3D end image result.
I think that’s the best and fastest way to use the paper stack actions rather than templates. In fact, most of our combo actions serve for that purpose.
Furthermore, Letter Size and internal standard A4 Size papers could be used for huge wide purpose of printed material usage – photos, leaflet, brochures or even for rough sketches /ideas or arts etc.
If you have a client asking you to create stack of papers with “different design” on each of the sheet ( let say you’re going to use the 8 Letter Size Papers Stack Actions ). I strongly suggest you to design each of them on separate file first and save the PSD files before combining them ( after flatten the layers / copy merge and paste ) into the actions “starting template”. Why?
Because my experience says that there’s a possibility that soon the client may ask you for the PSD files for EACH of the paper design! Simply because he loves your designs and need to print them as actual physical product!
Imagine if you crammed all of the 8 PSDs into the starting template from the beginning..
