Here’s a list of reasons on why user get error pop up while rendering our Photoshop Action mockup.

REASON #1 : Not using Photoshop ENGLISH version
User will see sequence of error pop ups while rendering the Action script.
This mostly happens when user are using other than English version of Photoshop. Our Actions require Photoshop “ENGLISH” version to render successfully.
Solution:
Change your Photoshop to English version temporarily OR use other PC that has Photoshop ENGLISH version installed.
If you have other than English language Photoshop version, there are couple of options :
For Photoshop CC user, changing language version is easy. You can temporary change your Photoshop 2024 to English version – view below tutorial:
How to Change Language on Photoshop 2024 (From Germany to English).
How to Change Language on Photoshop CC.
Alternative way on How to change your native language PS CC, 2020, 2021 or 2022 to English version:
For Other than Photoshop CC version- that is Photoshop CS6, CS5, CS4 or CS3 Photoshop user– temporary tweak your current native languange Photoshop and change it to English version :
Simply navigate to this directory: C:/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS5.1/Locales/sv_SE/Support Files
The sv_SE folder is named such, in case your version is Swedish. Just find the similar named folder that looks like it should correspond with your language.
In the support files directory there will be a file named tw10428.dat
Make sure that Photoshop is closed, change the file extension to .bak instead of .dat, and then restart photoshop.
Your software will now be in English.

REASON #2 : User ignore instructions
User renders “Starter Template” Action step successfully, add their artwork, BUT got error rendering “Render 3D” Action step.
“Render 3D” Action step produce error pop ups, with the first pop up says:
“Command Background is not currently available”
This happens when user not following directions – All of our Actions have pop up instructions. Please read and follow the instruction provided or Actions may not work properly

Solution:
Do not turn off or delete the default “Background Layer” generated by the “Starter Template” Action step. Just leave it there as it is, add your artwork on the top of the Background layer, and play next Action step.
Many of my “Starter Template” Action steps has sets of value included that required by the next Action step.
REASON #3 : User Not Using the Original “Starter Template” Step provided
“Render 3D” Action step produce sequence error pop ups, with the first pop up says:
“Command Select is not currently available”
This error mostly caused by either user is not using the original Starter Template Action step provided -or- in some cases user interchanged “Starter Template” Action step with Other Action Mockup Set “Render 3D” Step.
The former case happens, perhaps user thought all Action Starter Template step were made equal as long as the template size is the same -But that’s not the case when you using our mockups.
The latter case usually happens while user are working on several mockups of different kind at the same time and did by mistake.
Solution : Use the original Starter Template rendered by the Action and add your merged of flattened artwork into the specified layer.
REASON #4 : User Accidentally Moves Initial or Starting Point
User finds result image is offset and gaps. Something looks like this:

This happens when user accidently moves the initial starting point while adding their artwork into Starter Template.
Solution:

Try to double click on the ruler starting point shown above. This will reset your initial point to 0-0. And then play the “Render Action” step. In some cases this will solve the problem but I would recommend users to add their merged or flattened artwork to fresh new starter template.
REASON #5 : Altered Action Script by Accident
Action is stopping at every step or just stopped
User may has accidentally alter the Action while working on it, so that the Action stops at every step while rendering.
Solution:
Just delete the Action script in your Action palette and re-download new one. In case of user lost the file which once bought as non-member (Single Purchase) with expired download link, user may still re-download purchased mockup HERE.
REASON #6 : User Confused between Action Based Mockup and Smart Object Layer Based Mockup
A user downloaded a PSD file and open it on her/his Photoshop. After click on ‘Save’- nothing happened?!!

Last but not least, this is the most popular problem I’ve got via support email submission.
This happens when user thought that all mockups must be in Smart Object Layer based PSD mockup format, without knowing the existence of Action (ATN) based mockup.
The PSD file provided is meant to be used with the Action script(s). It’s NOT a Smart Object Layer based PSD mockup.
Let me assure you that learning on how to use Photoshop Action based mockups is as easy as Smart Object Layer based mockup that you already mastered. It takes just a couple of minutes to learn.
Solution:
For this particular case, when PSD file is already opened on your PC’s Photoshop, all you need to do is download the Action (ATN file of the same post title) and open it to your Action palette. Then just play “Render 3D” step of the Action. And see how it’s turn out. It’s that simple.
